Amaraiya Naidu – The Catalyst for RKS Excellence

Every time an article is written about RKS very little mention is given to the challenges and success it went through between 1984 and 1987, the Naidu years. From a misguided student strike to 100% pass rates to repeated Deans and Coke Games glory, RKS had it all and displayed it all. Stanley Simpson’s piece ensures that what we went through back then, thanks largely to Mr. and Mrs Naidu, will be remembered and hopefully duplicated by future RKS educators and students. In the words of Mr. Naidu, “RKS does not need anyone from the outside to set the standards; RKS is the standard”
