2018 is shaping out to be a very eventful year for the Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Scholars and its related communities. Not a whole lot happened after the end of year functions in December and we are already into the second month of 2018.
According to the ancient and traditional iTaukei calendar, February or Veverueri is known as the Vula iSevu, when the initial yam harvest is presented to the chief and in modern times, to the church. It is our prayer that the Lord Jesus grant you and your family the eternal blessings and divine guidance as you bring to God your every first and best, this year, 2018 – the year of progressive development.
As you may be aware, we have partnered with Jacks of Fiji and the Qaqa brand of apparel and sporting goods, to handle our official merchandising over the next three years. The discussions have concluded, and we will get out of it three sets of sporting jerseys, shorts and socks to outfit our Lodoni Rugby Club Teams for the 2018-2020 Fiji Rugby Union and Suva Rugby Union seasons. In return, we will need to organize and purchase all our official RKSOSA apparel from Jacks of Fiji and Qaqa outlets all over Fiji. Our overseas branches are to get in touch with us to organize theirs. Additional details will be announced once arrangements have been finalised. #LodoniGaSaRawata #RaiKiSaioni #RavuravuKuaniSoro
Lastly, we congratulate Cakau House for taking out the 2018 Annual Inter-House Championship by the slimmest of margins. Ma’afu took 2nd place followed by Degei, with Ratu Sukuna rounding up the tail end, as usual.
God continues, through his Son, Jesus Christ, to bless the RKSOSA and its plans and the ultimate one for 2018, for us, is to start the construction on our flagship property at Lot 5 Knolly Street. #PraiseTheLord #SaVinakaKoJiova #SaLolomaNaKalou #KoJisuGaNaiWaliNiLeqa
